Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think discussing and moving to the cloud is a bad thing, but at the same time, you don’t have to be concerned or anxious about the fact that you might be left behind.
No way that moving to the cloud should be a reaction.
One has to think about it, and if anything, you start moving to the cloud in small steps treated as a maturity pathway.
Start moving some of your applications to the cloud. Moving to the cloud doesn’t also mean you have to completely create new applications and say, throw away your backpack or you’re existing on-premises system and go to a brand-new cloud system.
That will happen in the future at some stage.
